Labour & Birth

We provide a no-obligation, free, 30-minute zoom consultation so we can get to know each other prior to committing to work together.

We offer a basic birth package, as well as supplemental add on services, all outlined below.

Our Basic Birth Package Includes:

• ongoing text/call/e-mail support throughout pregnancy and two months postpartum

• attendance at our Group Prenatal Class (scheduled based on clients’ availability)

• one 1-2 hour private prenatal in your home to talk about your birth preferences

• on-call 24/7 starting at 38 weeks until birth

• advocacy, emotional support, physical support, and comfort techniques throughout labour and birth (please see details below)

• support, inclusion, reassurance, and education for the birth partner (if relevant) throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum

• one 1-2 hour postpartum visit to debrief on the birth, and to discuss any concerns you have regarding your newborn(s) and postpartum healing

• In-person labour support commencing in active labour (identified by us over the phone, or, by your healthcare practitioner). Once active labour has been confirmed, we will come to your home or the hospital and provide dedicated support throughout active labour, pushing, birth, and for two hours post-partum

$1650 + HST

$1550 + HST if you want to opt out of the classes

Supplemental Add Ons:

1. Birth Photography with our Photographer Emma McNabb $550+HST

   Emma attends for a maximum of 6 hrs. In your birth plan you outline any specific moments that are important to you for her to capture. Your doula will help assess and coordinate when it is a good time for the photographer to arrive at your birth. Emma then edits and provides a total of 25 images to you within 2 weeks of your baby’s birth.

2. Older Sibling Care while you’re in labour. This is on-call round-the-clock childcare support offered by one of our certified Postpartum Doulas in your home at $40+HST an hour. A deposit is due upon contract signing and the balance is due within the 2 weeks following your birth.

Accessibility and Availability:

We endeavour to ensure all families receive the support they need. Hence if the fees are unobtainable for you, we can come to an agreement. Please reach out, and we will work with your needs.

A note is added to this page when we have reached capacity for a particular month. The earlier you sign the better, as we can then begin to support you throughout your pregnancy from the moment you sign.

Note that if you sign early and experience a loss, we always offer a full refund. We also support you through the experience of loss, as no one should feel they have to do that alone.
