First-Year Postpartum

Driftwood Doula has two postpartum doulas - Liz Burns and Quynne Merrill

Postpartum Packages Include:

·        Evidence-based information and support for parent and infant care

·        Attendance at our postpartum prep group class for a discounted rate of $60 + HST

·        Support with vaginal or cesarean birth recovery

·        Support with infant feeding, diapering, bathing, and sleeping

·        Light housework (laundry and kitchen)

·        Meal and snack preparation

·        Infant/sibling care while parent(s) nap, shower, or have some alone time

·        Accompaniment to appointments or other trips

·        We offer day and night time support, 7 days a week

·        Daytime visits are a minimum of 3 hours in length, overnight visits are a minimum of 7 hours in length

We provide a no-obligation, free, 30-minute zoom consultation so we can get to know each other prior to committing to work together.

The packages and pricing outlined below are just examples and are intended to give an idea of what postpartum support can look like. Support is completely flexible and customizable. We wish to accommodate the unique needs of each family.

Flexible payment plans are available, my only requirement is that all fees are paid prior to the commencement of care. We accept e-transfer, or credit card. For credit card we add 4% to cover the processing fee.

Pay as You Go- By the Hour

$40/hour +HST. Subject to schedule availability.

12 Hours Booked Up Front

$450 +HST. Works out to $37.50 / hour +HST

24 Hours Booked Up Front

$840 +HST. Works out to $35/ hour +HST

Accessibility and Availability:

We endeavour to ensure all families receive the support they need. Hence if the fees are unobtainable for you, we can come to an agreement. Please reach out, and we will work with your needs.

A note is added to this page when we have reached capacity for a particular month. The earlier you sign the better, as we can then begin to support you with any prep questions you have throughout throughout your pregnancy from the moment you sign.

Note that if you sign early and experience a loss, we always offer a full refund. We also support you through the experience of loss, as no one should feel they have to do that alone.
