Group Prenatal Classes

The next run of classes is in November - Fridays 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th 5.30-8pm (with a rain date of December 4th).

Following that, the next run will be January - Fridays 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th 5.30-8pm (with a rain date of February 5th).

Class is held at a new location - upper room at Faith City Church on Summit Street, North End Halifax.

These evidence-based classes cover a lot of ground, including but not limited to - prepping the body for birth, how to know when labour has begun, medical and non-medical pain management, the body’s process during labour, induction and interventions, debunking cultural myths about childbirth, infant feeding, taking care of yourself after childbirth, sleeping, bathing and more.

This class is intended for the pregnant person, and one support person (whether that is their partner, friend, mother, doula… etc.).

The classes are valued at $280+HST. But, we offer sliding scale, pay what you can (made possible by the generous donation of the rental space at Faith City Church).
